Andy Murray a potential tennis coach who could change the game, says Rennae Stubbs

Rennae Stubbs, believes Britain’s Andy Murray should return to tennis as a professional. The 37-year-old is considered one of the greatest British players in the history of men’s tennis in the singles category, having won multiple Grand Slam titles. Murray recently retired from professional tennis after struggling with injuries for most of his career. The Glasgow-born star retired after the Australian Open in 2018 due to a hip injury, but returned to the court and continued to play at the highest level.

Stubbs, a former coach herself, recently spoke out on her podcast in which she stated that Murray should return to tennis and become a tennis coach: “Andy Murray would be a great coach for anyone,” she said. “This guy knows tennis like the back of his hand, he knows the emotions. He would be a great coach for anyone, woman or man, because he just has a great tennis head. Plus he was a very emotional player, and I think that he could very well empathize with a player’s difficult times on the tour.”
