Rennae Stubbs tells Andy Murray what he would be simply ‘great’ at after retiring from playing tennis

Andy Murray may have only retired in the summer, but tennis waits for no one.

Since then, so much has changed, and we have even seen another departure from the sport on a level somehow beyond his.

Admittedly, there are few players who could shock the world like Rafael Nadal did when he announced his retirement.

It’s always a tricky decision, and even more difficult is finding that purpose after leaving the sport that has dominated a player’s life.

Andy Murray though, has now been offered a new career path.

Speaking on her podcast, attention for Rennae Stubbs turned to Murray, despite the Scotsman having retired from tennis back in August.

Clearly enjoying all of his free time, and having taken up golf to satisfy his sporting vacancy, we have still seen plenty of the three-time Grand Slam champion in the media.

However, this particular pundit has suggested that, should he want to do it, that coaching would be a remarkable venture for Murray to undertake given his elite mentality and remarkable emotional intelligence.

Stubbs stated: ‘Andy Murray, he would be great coaching anyone. This guy knows tennis like the back of his hand, he knows emotion.
