WATCH: Nelly Korda explains her ‘old-fashioned’ practice round golf routine
Nelly Korda is coming off the best season of her career so far, winning six tournaments, five in a row (one of them a Major). This has brought her even more attention than she already had from the fans, and her training routine hasn’t escaped the general interest.
Korda appeared as a guest in the latest video on the Golf Galaxy YouTube channel. The video was filmed at the Concession Golf Club in Bradenton, Florida, where the World No. 1 regularly trains.
During the video, host Mike Trott asked Nelly Korda to give details of her training routine when she is at her home course. This was part of what the double Major champion had to say:
“I play solo. I don’t tend to play with people because I feel like it’s a little distracting, so I like to play by myself and I get around the golf course in like two hours. I’ll tend to get a really early morning tea time and I’m done with 18 holes by like 9:30.” [2:30 – 2:48]
