“Cuffing season” is taking on a new meaning thanks to Victoria Beckham. Sure, it may be about that time to lock down a boo for the chilly months ahead, but it’s also a moment in which a lot of us are breaking out our cold-weather clothing – including trousers we just never get around to hemming. But no tailor, no problem, because Beckham is making a case for the extreme cuff.
The fashion designer and former pop star served as a walking advertisement for her eponymous label yesterday in New York, reminding us that she is her own best customer. She wore a dove-grey blazer cinched at the waist by a long tie, with matching wide-legged trousers. Beckham chose not to tailor the hem of her trousers, but wear them in an extreme single cuff which hovered ever so slightly off the ground.
