Victoria Beckham: Her new fragrance is inspired by a romantic dinner with David Beckham
A few days ago, Victoria Beckham presented her new fragrance, the fourth in a row. She revealed her husband David’s inspiration for the essence. “David and I met in Java on vacation and he planned the most romantic dinner. We were in the middle of a rice field just the two of us. At 21:50, just as the sun was setting, all the rice fields were lit up with tiny candles. He had arranged it. It was such a beautiful surprise,” Beckham confides in American Vogue.
It is this romantic moment that inspired the fragrance aptly named 21:50 Reverie. The launch took place at the Chateau de Bagatelle, a neoclassical house built in 1720. Guests sat on grass-colored carpets, while the catwalk was reminiscent of that moment in Indonesia. Naturally, 21:50 has a base note of musky vanilla on me.
