It’s all about the bob this season, with celebrities left, right and centre jumping on the short hairstyle bandwagon. But if there’s one A-lister who we all think of when we think of the bob, it’s still Victoria Beckham and her iconic Posh Spice look. So, when we saw that she is back in the bob brigade once more, it just felt…right.
The singer-turned-fashion designer gave us a first glimpse at her new ‘do while on holiday with her family in Las Vegas earlier this month, but the photos weren’t as clear as we’d have liked, showing only a new shoulder-grazing cut from afar and in dim lighting.
Happily, her hairstylist Ken Paves has now stepped up to give us a much closer look, showcasing Victoria’s layered, tousled texture (a contemporary update on her slick, blunt Nineties style) and warm balayage highlights.
Her roots remain her signature dark brown, but the lighter, toffee-coloured tips feel perfectly cool but cosy as we head into autumn/winter. They soften it all up – to super flattering, face-framing effect.
‘Fresh cut for my mane muse Victoria Beckham,’ wrote Ken in the caption to his post of Victoria, who can be seen looking upwards and away from the camera, with flawless natural makeup as per. ‘Back to the POB!’ wrote one follower underneath, referencing her ‘Posh bob’, followed by two heart-eyed emojis.
