BREAKING NEWS: Kamala Harris reveals how she feels about highly-coveted Taylor Swift endorsement that infuriated Donald Trump
Vice President Kamala Harris responded to slew of celebrity endorsements in the 2024 presidential race including the highly-coveted support from megastar Taylor Swift. The Democratic presidential nominee was interviewed by radio host Stephanie ‘Chiquibaby’ Himonidis where Himonidis noted Swift’s endorsement as well as those from other stars in the 2024 race.
Himonidis mentioned Swift by name as well as George Lopez and Eva Longoria before asking Harris to weigh in on the Mexican band dropping its collaboration with Nicky Jam who recently endorsed Trump.
Harris first responded that she’s ‘very grateful’ to all the artists who understood the stakes of the election and endorsed her candidacy.
‘I’m very honored to have their support,’ the vice president said.
Harris added she is thankful for them raising their voice.
Just hours after the radio interview aired, another major singer announced her support for Harris. Billie Eilish and her brother Finneas revealed their support on X.
Harris’ comments on the Chiquibaby Show is the first time the vice president has weighed in directly on the celebrity endorsements even thought she did not mention Swift or any other celebrity by name.
It comes as her campaign has celebrated the superstar backing the Democratic nominee.
‘I will be a president for all Americans,’ Harris said. ‘I think there’s not place for hate and division in this country.’
She repeated her call that it’s time to ‘turn the page’ on the last decade, on the division and extremism.
‘There’s too much at stake in this election,’ Harris said.
