Victoria Beckham Rejects Meghan Markle’s Plea to End Feud: ‘You Just Want My Endorsement!

Victoria Beckham has reportedly turned down Meghan Markle’s efforts to repair their strained relationship and secure her endorsement for Meghan’s upcoming Netflix cooking show.

The former Spice Girl has made it clear that she is not interested in being used as a pawn in Meghan’s quest for celebrity rehabilitation.

Meghan had reached out to Victoria, proposing to prominently feature her fashion line and beauty brand on the Netflix program in an attempt to restore their once-close friendship.

However, the fashion designer turned entrepreneur dismissed these overtures as a transparent ploy for publicity and endorsement. “You just want me to endorse your failed Netflix cooking show,” Victoria Beckham is said to have responded in a scathing reply to Meghan’s desperate plea. “I am not interested in being used as a prop to boost your image or your business ventures. The Beckhams have moved on and have no intention of being dragged back into your drama.”

The tension between the two high-profile women has been simmering for years, dating back to Meghan and Prince Harry’s acrimonious departure from the Royal Family.

The Beckhams, who were once close friends with the Sussexes, have since aligned themselves firmly with the Cambridges, much to Meghan’s chagrin. “Vic doesn’t want Kate or William to think that they are supporting the Sussexes. They have a lot of time and sympathy for the Wales, and that’s never going to change,” a source close to the Beckhams revealed.

While Victoria would hate to be enemies with anyone, both she and David Beckham feel uncomfortable with Meghan and Harry’s behavior and what they’ve said about the Royals.

The rift between the Beckhams and the Sussexes is said to have deepened after an alleged incident in 2018, when Prince Harry reportedly accused David Beckham of leaking stories about the couple to the press. This accusation, which left the former footballer furious, has seemingly irreparably damaged their once-close friendship.

Meghan’s latest attempt to mend fences appears to be a desperate move as The Duchess struggles to rebuild her tarnished image and regain the support of A-list celebrities she once counted as friends.

Meghan has invited the entire Beckham family to Harry’s 40th birthday party next month. She has instructed her party planners to ensure that photographers get as many snaps as possible and to make them feel like the guests of honor.

However, Victoria Beckham’s response to Meghan’s overtures has been decidedly lukewarm. She thanked Meghan for her generous offer but redirected her to her PR team, effectively brushing her off.

The Beckhams have not responded to Harry’s birthday invite either, and it is becoming clear that Meghan’s attempts are meeting dead ends.

The Beckham’s reluctance to engage with the Sussexes is not surprising given their close ties to the Cambridges. David has grown closer to William over the past few years and maintains a good relationship with Charles as well.

Both he and Victoria understand the importance of maintaining these connections, especially given David’s aspiration for a knighthood. Aligning themselves with the Sussexes could jeopardize their relationship with the future King and Queen, as well as their own aspirations for greater Royal recognition.

Victoria does feel a bit sorry for Meghan, as she can relate to the criticism Meghan faces, but the Beckhams have no real intention of rekindling their friendship with the Sussexes. Meghan’s desperation to regain her celebrity status and influence has been well documented, with The Duchess reportedly reaching out to a host of former friends and associates in a bid to rebuild her network.

However, Victoria Beckham’s firm rejection of her overtures serves as a stark reminder that Meghan’s once-formidable social capital has been severely diminished.
