Congratulations are in order for Victoria Beckham, who has landed her own Netflix docuseries. This follows the success of Beckham, which spotlighted the rise of her husband David from a young footballer to England captain and beyond, and saw Victoria making several witty, scene-stealing appearances.
In the forthcoming show (as yet untitled), Victoria’s journey from ’90s Spice Girl to fashion and beauty entrepreneur will be retold from her point of view. As per the summary just released: “Her Posh Spice days may be behind her, but today Beckham is on a journey to build a fashion empire — and now, fans will be able to see the story behind it all.”
Described as “an observational documentary following her, behind the scenes in Paris and with her family,” viewers can expect an unique insight into her personal and professional life, as much as a visual feast given the fashion focus. It will be produced by David’s production company Studio 99 (which also produced his own documentary, as well as Coleen Rooney: The Real Wagatha Story) in association with Dorothy Street Pictures.
